Humani Labs ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use Capabo, available at capabo.ai, and any related websites, applications, and services we provide (collectively, the "Service").
We follow the principle of data minimization. We aim to collect only the information reasonably needed to provide, secure, operate, and improve the Service. We do not build advertising profiles from your data, and we do not sell your personal information.
The Service is intended only for users who are at least 18 years old.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information
When you create an account, we may collect:
- name;
- email address;
- login method;
- Google profile information if you use Google login, such as your name, email address, and profile image if provided by Google;
- account settings and preferences.
We do not collect or store your Google password. Google authentication is handled by Google. For Google login, we currently request only the basic Google profile information needed for authentication. We do not access your Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, contacts, or other Google account content unless we separately ask for permission and you authorize that access.

Please do not upload sensitive personal information, confidential third-party materials, employer documents, school records, regulated data, or copyrighted materials unless you have the right to do so and are comfortable having them processed by the Service and our service providers.
1.4 Payment Information
If you purchase a subscription, payment information is collected and processed by Stripe or its affiliates. We do not directly store your full payment card number. We may receive billing-related information such as plan type, payment status, renewal date, cancellation status, transaction identifiers, and limited billing contact information.
1.5 Technical Usage Data
When you visit or use the Service, we may automatically collect technical information such as IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, pages and features used, timestamps, error logs, approximate location inferred from IP address, and cookie or local-storage data.
We use this information to operate the Service, maintain security, debug issues, understand product usage, prevent abuse, and enforce usage limits. We do not use it to build advertising or behavioral profiles.
2. Cookies and Local Storage
We may use cookies and similar browser storage technologies that are necessary or helpful to operate the Service. These may include:
- session and authentication storage to keep you logged in;
- CSRF and security tokens to protect account actions;
- login callback or redirect information to complete authentication;
- Terms and Privacy acknowledgment storage so we do not show the same notice on every visit;
- usage counters or temporary identifiers to enforce beta, trial, or subscription limits and prevent abuse;
- product preferences and progress continuity.
We do not use cookies for third-party advertising or cross-site behavioral tracking.
If we add non-essential cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics that require additional notice or consent, we will update this Privacy Policy or provide the required notice and choices.

4. AI Processing and Service Providers
The Service uses AI systems to provide learning, personalization, memory, diagnostics, evaluation, feedback, and agent features. To provide these features, we may process your prompts, messages, uploaded materials, learning traces, and related context through AI systems operated by us or by third-party AI providers.
We may use your interactions, feedback, and learning traces to improve Capabo's learning, memory, evaluation, and agent systems. We will not use your private uploaded documents, resumes, or project files to train general-purpose AI models made available outside the Service unless we first tell you and obtain any required consent.
We also use service providers for hosting, authentication, analytics, payments, security, communications, customer support, product operations, and similar services. These providers are authorized to process personal information only as needed to provide services to us or as otherwise permitted by law.

Human access to Google user data is limited to cases where you consent, access is necessary for security or support, access is required by law, or the data is aggregated and used internally in a way that does not identify you.

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the Service, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve the Service.
If you delete your account or request deletion, we will delete or de-identify personal information unless we need to retain it for legal, security, billing, fraud-prevention, backup, or legitimate business reasons. Backup copies may remain for a limited time before deletion.
In general, we retain account information while your account is active, uploaded materials and learning history while needed to provide the Service or until you delete them where deletion is available, billing records as needed for accounting and legal obligations, and security or usage logs for as long as reasonably needed to protect the Service and prevent abuse.

We do not "sell" or "share" personal information as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act/California Privacy Rights Act. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.
If you live in a region that gives you additional privacy rights, you may contact us to exercise those rights, and we will respond as required by applicable law.
